    Abstract
The purpose of this research is to examine the possibility of developing and implementing a post-hire, on-the-job training program for entry level paralegals in the State of New Hampshire. According to the National Federation of Paralegal Associations (NFPA), New Hampshire has no formal education or training requirements for paralegals. However, in recent years, states such as Washington, Utah, New York, and California have implemented specialized programs and training opportunities for non-lawyer legal professionals, namely paralegals. This research surveyed current working paralegals on their experiences regarding their own training (if any) and their insights into what components they believe should be a part of a new training program.
