Abstract
This project was to identify if there is a work-life balance in the banking industry, and how managers understand the concept. Six managers of different demographics were surveyed and the results show three important themes; that the leaders need to have great knowledge of the work and their employees, that home issues and work issues need to be separate and balanced, and that excellent communication is required of both the leaders and the employees so that everyone can advocate successfully for their needs, and the needs of the corporation. The results will be shared with the Human Resources Department to identify if a new policy can be created.
