Abstract
The members of the Region 1 CERFP (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and High Yield Explosive Enhanced Response Force Package) and the 157 Medical Group, Pease Air National Guard Base, have professional medical course training requirements that are met in-house as a result of developing the Region 1 Medical Training Center. Refurbishing an unused building on Pease met the classroom needs for hosting several courses concurrently. The project also entailed recruiting instructors from the medical professionals of the 157MDG. Teaching materials were purchased for each of the 7 courses and Administrators were trained to ensure that all professional governing rules are followed. This is required for authorization of a formal Military Training Site. From this project success, the CERFP has been able to take their training venue to South Korea, Puerto Rico and other parts of the United States teaching their fellow military members.
