    Abstract
The purpose of the safety improvement project is to help the organization eliminate or reduce safety issues that employees face while performing their duties. Velcro is developing a reward program that will motivate employees to participate in safety improvement. The reward program will be used in conjunction with the Creative Idea and Near Miss program to fight off safety challenges facing the organization. Safety is a continuous improvement process and thus will exist until its goals and objectives are achieved. The program will help the organization capitalize on this opportunity and reconnect with employees to improve safety in their work place. A key takeaway from this project is that change is inevitable and with proper incentives employees themselves can develop ways to improve safety at work. Subsidizing this reward program will help Velcro reduce its work compensation costs associated with work injuries. Safety first!
