dc.description | The Gibbons Family is seeking a new living space that meets their needs which includes the selling of their current home and purchase of a new living space to reduce operation cost as well as living space. To meet their needs, they anticipate purchasing a home that will require construction. The reason I selected this project is to provide me with experience managing a construction project and to establish an understanding of the standard steps in developing a project plan. As a result, the project continues to progress through the construction phases which has remained within budget but has exceeded the schedule. The main lesson learned from this project is how to better develop a project schedule. By observing the difference between the actual and estimated duration of a task, I will better schedule the next construction project I manage. | |
