This project discusses staff overturn and management issues. It looks at how the issues with management affects the staff retention. Also, included, are ways to make management more solid and effective and different ways to retain staff. My project stems from a huge problem that I see within my facility, where I work. In 11 months, 11 full-time nurses have left their positions. What I really wanted to look at was a) different management approaches that are successful and why they are successful. Also, b) what are ways to retain some of the staff that are leaving? There are many different approaches to retain staff and keeping them invested in their daily jobs and the facility as a whole. I would like to explore ideas that have been successful and look at possibly using these idea to help my facility grow stronger from within.
