dc.description | The purpose of this research is to highlight the importance of emotional intelligence in leadership. Emotional Intelligence is focused awareness of one’s own emotional state and of the emotional signal’s others are exhibiting in the fluid situation of an interaction. Remaining aware of the emotional state of others and oneself during a contentious exchange enables one to navigate that particular situation effectively. The highest form of interaction that people can experience is a mutual feeling of understanding and a state of mutual understanding is most rapidly reached one can remain aware of emotional intelligence dynamics. The research will analyze the positive outcomes of leaders with emotional intelligence for followers and organizations. | |
